Welcome to a special and very festive addition to the School Holiday Art Club with Miss Jules and Aphrodite Art School Team!

Our school holiday workshops offer children and teens the chance to slow down, immerse themselves in creativity and spend time in a beautiful studio environment.

But possibly just importantly, they offer you the peace of mind of knowing that they are being occupied and inspired for a full day so you can focus on getting that last minute chrissy shopping done, get to work without stress or just take a hot minute for yourself!

We are offering two FULL DAY camps, the first for kids 5-10 years old on Thursday 17th Dec, and the second for pre-/teens (ages 8-17) on Monday 21st Dec.

Both are FULL DAY art camps from 9am-3pm held at our loft studio at East Hall. Please ensure you read the full description below.

We structure the day around three workshops, with bonus break-out sessions. While both age geroups have the same workshop themes they will be tailored differently to ensure they are age and skill appropriate.

Workshop 1: Painted Ceramic Baubles & Gift Boxes

Students will create thier own colourful Christmas bauble decorated with ribbons and dressing of their choosing to keep for the Christmas tree or give add gift in its own specially decorated gift box

Workshop 2: Cardboard Gingerbread Houses

Using recycled cardboard and a treasure trove of new and old materials children will be guided and inspired to make thier own gingerbread house of their own imagining. Anything could happen in this space as students will be encouraged to let their imagination fly.

Workshop 3: Collage Calendars

You have to break a few eggs to make an omlette and this project is a perfect example.. Students will be guided through this fun and expressive project that involves lots of rummaging and ripping of bright paper to create a bold a bright artwork that will be made into a 2027 calendar. This is a great gift idea for grandparents and relatives.

Each child will leave lots of wonderful creations to display at home, hang on the tree for years to come or gift to a special person.
